At Automation Traders, we understand that industrial instruments and medical devices are not ordinary parcels. They often require specialised handling, temperature control, anti‑static packaging, and secure transit. Our logistics partners are selected for their ability to meet these demanding requirements.

Where Do We Ship?
We currently ship to over 40 countries worldwide, with a focus on industrialised nations and emerging manufacturing hubs. If your destination is not available at checkout, please contact us – we regularly add new regions.

Shipping Options for Instruments & Devices
• Express Air (2–4 business days) – Recommended for critical spares, calibrated instruments, and medical devices requiring rapid deployment. Fully tracked, door‑to‑door.
• Priority Air (5–7 business days) – Ideal for most industrial components. Includes tracking and insurance.
• Economy Air (8–14 business days) – Cost‑effective for non‑urgent orders, heavy items, or bulk shipments.
• Ocean Freight (by quotation) – Available for large equipment, palletised orders, or full container loads. Contact us for a custom quote.

Specialised Packaging
All sensitive instruments are shipped using:
- ESD‑safe bags for static‑sensitive components.
- Custom foam‑lined boxes for fragile meters and displays.
- Temperature‑controlled packaging (upon request) for medical reagents or temperature‑sensitive devices.
- Desiccant and humidity indicators for moisture‑sensitive items.

Order Processing & Cut‑off Times
• Orders placed before 14:00 (GMT+5) are picked, packed, and dispatched the same business day.
• Orders requiring calibration, custom configuration, or special testing may require additional processing time – you will be notified by email.
• You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking number and courier details as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

Tracking & Delivery Confirmation
• All shipments include door‑to‑door tracking. You can monitor your package in real time via our website or the courier’s portal.
• Signature on delivery is required for most express and priority shipments to ensure secure handover.

Customs, Duties, and Import Clearance
We have extensive experience shipping industrial and medical equipment across international borders. We will:
• Provide commercial invoices with accurate Harmonised System (HS) codes and product descriptions to facilitate smooth clearance.
• Assist with documentation for controlled items (e.g., radiation‑based instruments, certain medical devices).
• Pre‑pay duties and taxes on select shipments (DDP service) – available by quotation.

Import duties, VAT, and brokerage fees are generally the responsibility of the consignee. We recommend consulting your local customs authority before ordering.

Delivery Issues – Damaged, Lost, or Delayed
If your instrument arrives damaged:
- Photograph the packaging and product immediately.
- Report within 48 hours to claims@automationtraders.com.
- We will arrange a replacement or refund and file a carrier claim on your behalf.

If your shipment is significantly delayed or lost:
- We initiate a formal trace with the carrier.
- If confirmed lost, we reship immediately or issue a full refund, including shipping costs.
